Rev. Aidan Machuza is 38 years. He is Priest of Kasanda Parish, Diocese of Kibondo, Anglican Church of Tanzania. He is among 35 facilitators who are attending CCMP trainings which facilitated by Christian Council of Tanzania.

As CCMP facilitator he started to engage on resource mobilization by starting to plant a very small plot of tomato as one of his income generating project. Then, earned much from this small plot. He increased a plot to 2 acres of tomato. The produce from this project won a local farmers market providing tomato, the market held each Saturday.

Each Saturday he is getting 25 hat baskets which bring in a profit of £134(Tshs 375,000) and a total of approximately of £536 a month. This income benefits all the family members. ‘’This project has doubled my family income’ says Rev. Machuza. I hope to earn more next year after increase plot size. Now I can afford to meet my family needs and for my children such school fees and uniforms and we have improved our nutrition. ‘’ Before I was depending on Church collections as my allowance and source of my income to meet my family needs, this was challenging due to the level of poverty among Church members at my Parish.Now he is role model at his Church. He increased a sense of self-esteem.
