CCT is actively combating Marburg Virus Disease in the Kagera Region

CCT Together with Tanzania Interfaith Partnership(TIP) and UNICEF, CCT is actively combating Marburg Virus Disease in the Kagera Region. We’ve trained 250 religious leaders, 216 women from faith-based groups, 180 traditional healers, and 160 community health workers across Biharamulo, Muleba, and Ngara. Equipped with IEC materials, they are now leading community engagement efforts to promote Marburg Virus Disease (MVD) prevention.
